Unfinished
More Photos
Unfinished steel is best for those planning to finish the metal themselves. It will show a varying amount of blemishes and is prone to fingerprints. Over time, these legs will rust in tiny spots here and there, but never rust out. To get that truly rustic steel table leg look, you'll need to accelerate the rust with chemical.
Clear sealant

This is the finish you see in most of the photos above. This metal comes straight from the steel yard and is then sealed with a rust preventing coat. The result is a very dark graphite grey coloring. The steel's finish is not uniform. It will still show the gashes/blemishes of the raw material, making every piece unique and industrial. There is a slight sheen to this finish, but it still feels like bare metal to the touch.

Powder coating is an environmentally friendly alternative to paint. Our black is fine textured, and has a soft granular feel. The sheen on the Satin Black is minimal.
