Industrial Dark Metal Table Legs

The Industrial Dark finish is given the same treatment as our Clear Sealant, but we use a different kind of steel with a dark gray almost black color.

The surface is cleaned, the grind marks where the welds have been smoothed are darkened with an acid treatment, and the surface is hand-coated with a penetrating sealant. The steel will be in the same condition as it was received from the mill and may have color variations from light to dark gray along with the scratches, blemishes and inconsistencies that you might expect to see on a raw industrial building material. In the manufacturing process of tube steel, a dark line is left down the length of one side of the tube. When fabricating our legs, we line up this mark so that it forms a sort of “pinstripe” on the inside surface of the leg.

The Industrial Dark finish gives you the rustic style of raw steel with added rust protection. This option is not suited for outdoor use.
